About us and our activities

Soft Skills is a Research Laboratory and a School with its own developments in conflict management, negotiation techniques, communication, and the enhancement of personal and group productivity tools.

Features of our work

Our content creation system was conceived to delve into the broad field of soft skills and transform that knowledge into applicable tools.

Nature of the topics addressed by the Laboratory

The Laboratory, our content creation system, was conceived to explore the vast field of "soft skills". In the 21st century, social skills will be what put us in a better position to develop knowledge and actions that allow for better management, administration, communication, personal leadership, and organizational management systems.

To achieve this, our team is constantly engaged in reviewing and updating content, monitoring trends, and creating materials and training designs to stay at the forefront of innovation in the fields of knowledge we cover.

Training

What we do in terms of training

Our fields of action are focused on developing skills in conflict management and negotiation, communication skills, and management across various areas of the so-called soft skills.

Topic Selection

Our selection criteria

We provide tools for conflict management and resolution, in-depth negotiation, communication, time management, effective meeting organization, team leading, intergenerational interaction, and comprehensive training in relationship and leadership skills.

Content

What is our content like?

We strive for substantial training, free of unnecessary or outdated content. We analyze trends, adapt relevant elements, and discard passing fads or non-conducive practices to provide real value to professional and business management.

Practical Focus

Real application of knowledge

Our methodology prioritizes applicable content, practical tools, and learning processes oriented towards improving decision-making, people management, and solving real-world problems.

Institutional Identity

Vision and Mission

Our institutional orientation defines the Laboratory's purpose and the role we seek to occupy in the development of applied social skills.

Vision

We are a private initiative, created in 2005, that has evolved into the Laboratory we develop today. We have the support of researchers and academics from various disciplines to be a national and regional reference in the study of the subjects within our expertise.

Mission

To contribute and be a reference in the development of social skills through teaching, applied research, extension, training, and community services.

Services

Consultancy

The Consulting Service is one of the most dynamic areas of our organization, evolving through various stages since its inception.

Its origins date back to 2005, starting with conflict management—cases where parties had moved beyond direct negotiation and could no longer reach a resolution, either due to the complexity of the issues or the emotional weight involved, which hindered dialogue. To address this, the institution assembled a team of specialists providing consultancy services to public and private organizations, businesses, and individuals.

This consulting service is based on an old Japanese axiom, which states that the best lawyer is the one who never frequents the courts but instead achieves conflict resolution through negotiation and reconciliation. The consulting team is primarily composed of lawyers and psychologists, focusing on analyzing problems, identifying obstacles to resolution, and managing conflicts that the parties involved are unable to resolve on their own.

Since 2018, the service has expanded to its current form. In addition to resolving conflicts between businesses and individuals, it now includes analyzing and managing relational challenges within organizations, generational adaptation systems, leadership dynamics, team functionality, and factors affecting group productivity.

What we offer

Consultancy

The Laboratory has a team for analysis, support, and conflict management assistance, offering services ranging from assisted negotiation to legal support in civil, commercial, and administrative matters.

Updated programs

The training programs are analyzed, reviewed, and updated—both in content and support materials—every 180 days.
